Archive: The botched PolitiFact Oregon resource page (see Page 1)
On June 20, 2019 Zebra Fact Check sent a complaint about PolitiFact to the International Fact-Checking Network about PolitiFact’s failure to fix an obvious error in a 2014 PolitiFact Oregon fact check. Zebra Fact Check used the example as a failure of PolitiFact’s commitment to an open and honest corrections policy. The text of the complaint follows in .pdf form.
Correction Feb. 23, 2020: Updated the first hotlink in the story, which originally led to the wrong page. Zebra Fact Check apologizes for the error.
