We’re publishing this vintage email after hearing a complaint that we’re never satisfied. In this email we praised Dulce Ramos of the IFCN for her key role in producing the IFCN’s report on the first year of its verification and accountability work. We consider this email proof that we found the report satisfactory.

Dear Dulce Ramos,
I finally finished going over the annual report that the IFCN created (largely through your efforts, it seems).
It’s an impressive document, showing the best side of the IFCN’s purpose of improving fact-checking accountability and transparency.
On a related note, the IFCN may want to make some changes to its process for filing complaints. I’ll monitor my specific experiences more carefully the next time I submit a complaint, but my impression the first time was that I did not receive any sort of concrete verification that the complaint was received. More on that later the next time I file a complaint.
