Zebra Fact Check asked about the International Fact-Checking Network’s policy on informing signatory fact-checking organizations when the IFCN receives complaints about them.

Dear Baybars Orsek, IFCN,
As described to me by former IFCN Director Alexios Mantzarlis, complaints to the IFCN were then forwarded to the organization that was the subject of the complaint.
I would like to know to what extent that policy has continued. It’s relevant in judging the behavior of orgs that do not fix mistakes even knowing the mistakes are the (potential?) subject of IFCN investigation.
Thanks.

Hi Bryan,
Yes, all organizations have been informed of the complaints. They receive them even if the person who has filled [sic] the complaint form did not share it with the relevant organization.
Thanks
